Happy Birthday Lawnscaping! I was so excited to participate in this challenge because Lawn Fawn is one of my favorite stamp companies!
I used a ton of their stamp sets for this card:
-Year Four for the bird, balloons, and party hats
-Beep Boop Birthday for the presents and the cupcake
-Love You Tons for the elephant
-Critters at the Dog Park for the boston terrier
-Love You S'more for the squirrel
-On The Mend for the little bug
-Sending Hedgehugs for the hedgehog
-Milo's ABCs for the majority of the sentiment
-Happy Everything for the word 'birthday'
I was going for a film negative kind of look for this card & I decided to put the critters where the holes would normally be on the negative.
The dies I used for this card are:
-Peek A Frame by Mama Elephant for the stitched card panel
-Sizzix Framelits Squares for the 6 small square cut-outs
-Stitched Rectangles by Simon Says Stamp for the sentiment piece
I colored the critters with my copics (I don't remember all the colors I used, sorry) and gave some of them some spots with my white Gelly Roll pen. I put some Clear Wink of Stella on the balloons and the hats, then covered them with Glossy Accents. For the little bug, I put some Recollections glitter glue (Michael's brand version of Stickles) on him and decided I didn't like the texture, so I covered it up with Glossy Accents.
I created the sentiment using Milo's ABCs and Happy Everything and heat embossed it in white. Then I popped that sentiment panel up on some foam tape from 3M. I adhered the black panel onto a 5.5" x 8.5" card base made from Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock & glued the critters on using Multi Medium Matte.
That was it for this card, thanks for visiting! :)
